Temper’s feasting menu at £60.00 per person offers a generous selection for the table, with moreish starters leading on to a choice of mouth-watering meats which can be shared with tandoori and sides. This relaxed and casual style matches the semi-private setting and, combined with the extensive Gin Menu, makes dining here the perfect evening of adventurous feasting. The Mezzanine semi-private dining room upstairs is accessed through a private door for guests only. The space can take a maximum of 60 guests seated and because it isn’t completely private, we would recommend the room for dinner parties, corporate dinners and Christmas events rather than presentations or anything overly formal. Chef Director Daniel Doherty has designed a selection of group dining menus featuring Duck & Waffle signature dishes. This feasting menu is served along the centre of the table for your guests to share as they enjoy private dining on the 40th floor of Heron Tower. The menu is full of festive delights featuring a whole chestnut stuffed roast chicken as the centrepiece and a tasty mince pie and coffee to finish. The menu, catered by Lassco Catering, is filled with rich and extravagant delights including charcuterie and langoustines to start. Roast sirloin of beef is served for the main, giving diners a full festive feel with all the trimmings, featuring the Gaucho take on pickled walnuts and roast new potatoes.
To finish, there is a choice of a chocolatey option or a seasonal poached pear dish, both sound equally delicious!
Brunswick House was built in the 1700s as a grand domestic residence, giving the private dining rooms an intimate but glamorous setting for events. The Saloon and Smoking Room can be hired for up to 60 guests and is their larger private dining room. So, for a cosy night filled with homely hearty food this is a great option.
