Spotlight: The Heritage Rooms

The Heritage Rooms 30 Euston Square, Private Dining London

Private Dining London take to Euston to discover the history behind one of the area’s most popular conference venues and unearth a host of new private dining spaces - The Heritage Rooms.

The Heritage Rooms are a set of newly renovated Grade-II listed spaces within the formal façade of 30 Euston Square. Guests enter through the contemporary conference-style welcome reception of the Royal College of General Practitioners to find six private dining rooms with historically elegant décor, state-of-the-art technology and fresh new furnishings.

The rooms have a large adjoining reception area which is perfect for pre-dinner mingling over canapes and champagne or perhaps pre-conference refreshments. The Heritage Rooms offer different rooms from 8 guests up to 24 guests seated for events, private dining and meetings. The rooms can be kept bare for formal meetings but also adapt well for upmarket events and occasions. The rooms feature wood panelled walls and fire places as well as dark furniture and large windows. This means that the rooms are well lit for day time events whilst also having an edge of drama needed for private dining room spaces.

Searcys are the caterers for The Heritage Rooms and by reflecting the venue’s ethos, the menu inspiration comes from the best of British! Head Chef Daniel Broughton delivers British hospitality and has even launched 30 Euston Square’s own butter, breads and petit fours with all ingredients sourced from the best producers in the British Isles.

Their Dinner does not disappoint and includes a starter of John Ross junior Smoked Salmon with Beetroot followed by a delightful main course of Forge farm lamb loin with crispy lamb shoulder and port jus whilst the vegetarians and vegans dining on variations of a beetroot with goat’s cheese starter and a hearty black truffle risotto for the main event which is equally as delicious. The Searcys team thrill us with a set of English Sparkling Wines that compliment each course of the meal in their own merit. The dessert is served away from the tables in a dessert table style for everyone to enjoy, featuring British desserts and cheeses.

The Heritage Rooms have surprised and delighted us. The private dining rooms are located a stones throw from Euston station, they're characterful when set with lighting, tableware and flowers and the main attraction has to be the food. British, delicious and befitting of the venue’s history.
